Description
This album was created by Karen Tei Yamashita after Tomi's death in 1970s. She put together an album of photographs in Tomi Yamashita's possession organizing the albums roughly based on each of family members. This album contains images of Tomi Yamashita from the 1900s to the 1920s. The album was labelled by Karen as "Tomi Album." The photographs in this collection are labelled and appear in the order that they appear in this album. Before this, they were kept in a box as separate photographs. Other collections in the Yamashita Family Archive include albums that were created contemporaneously to the images of the period.
