Page 1: Kay thanks Tomi for fixing the dress. Staying with Kay Uchida at Mrs. Homer Morris' home. Dinner with Dr Thomas E Jones, president of "colored university", taught at Imperial Univ. (first uses word "white" instead of Caucasian). Methodist Church discussion meeting. Page 2: Kay is the only Japanese sitting in on confidential meetings of Placement staff. Kay informs family about separating "loyal" and "disloyal" in Camps. She advises Neich (Chiz) to settle with Bob in Michigan, and for Neech (Sus) to make a plan. Page 3: Kay wants to know when Tomi would like to leave camp to stay with one of the siblings. Also asks that they send her some cooking utensils, cloths when they do not need them.
