Title
1946 5 30 Letter from John to Kay
Description
John talks about the postwar times returning to prewar culture and having Tomi move in with him. She is very active and lively. John comments on Tom's prejudices. He met Togo Shima in Columbarium and he still couldn't reclaim his old house. John tells Kay not to be so critical and disappointed and includes poetry to say: if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. My favorite quote "wear your nylons and that cocky and subly impertinent chapeau and don't try to deflate my ego and I won't yours." and "My real fear in the thinning of hair on the back of my dome-- the thot is alarming if the coop has some good hair tonic send it down--)
