Description
Min got physical exam call from army even though he has not had his re-classification. Kay believes Tom and Ted will not be called because they were not in Camp. Philadelphia hostel is underway, headed by former Communist. Kay dislikes her executive job-- it makes her an old hag.
Mrs. Moriyama thinks Kay is engaged to Bob Omata. Kay still in love. Five Issei's lose their job on farm in New Jersey, after a Polish/Lithuanian community burns down the farm-owner's barn. Kay talked to Yamamoto, one of the 5, who was forced to leave a farm in Delaware too.
