Description

Kay tells Neech and Keech about the two week visit Tom spent with Kay. Tom and Ted are now in army. Ted at Fort Blanding, Florida. Kay and Tom agree that Neech should come out to Phillie from Camp.

Kay offers her apartment for Neech to stay while he looks for a job and housing for Keech and the children.  Kay is looking for job opportunities for Neech through Mr. Borton and in the oil companies.  Kay has decided to go to Chicago to find a new job and support Tomi, but encourages Neech to come to live in Phillie. 

Kay tells Neech that it is difficult to get a job in Phillie, the Quaker firms are not open to JA's.  Kay has the most Caucasian friends she ever has had.  Kay says the family admires Neech for not taking a more lucrative job.
