Description
All-Center Conference in Salt Lake City, Feb. 16-22, 1945 (Topaz administrators convened the conference after the West Coast was opened for camp inmates to return to and the closing of the camps was announced in Jan. 1945). Sus was one of the delegates from Topaz; I think his job was to write-up a report on the proceedings in Japanese.
The conference outcome was a resolution to delay the closing of the 9 camps (Jerome had already closed in June 1944) to give the remaining families more time to find a place to live. The WRA chose not to act on the resolution. See the article in Densho encyclopedia "All Center Conference Densho."
