Description

Kay tells Tom to define real objectives in New York, and to stop thinking about volunteering for the Army.  Recommends, St Louis and Chicago if he decides not to go to New York.

 Tomi is enthused by art class.  Mom will not come to Tom's graduation because it is a needless luxury.  Kay asks Tom to write a letter in Japanese to Mom.  Tom's letter to TIME magazine got published.  (letter not included).
