Title
1943 2 24, Kay writes to get a job with social security board in Washington D.C.
Description
She mentions that when she left Tanforan to testify in the Ryder Case, she was offered a job to stay in Washington D.C., but couldn't take it because she was traveling with her mother. Her former boss had tried to get her a job outside of the camp when she returned to the West Coast before going back to Tanforan, but there was no response. She mentions that she was the only Japanese in San Francisco at the time that she was to return to Tanforan. She hopes now to be able to leave Topaz to work for the government again outside the camp, after having worked for student relocation.
