Description
Kay describes Bailey's old Pennsylvania dutch farm house in West Chester. The WRA is not clearing aliens (issei) for EDC until all nisei have been cleared. No family is visiting Kay for Christmas 1943. Because of her over-time work, Kay is paid as an executive, but taxes eliminates the wage increase. Kay will buy Health insurance: 75 cents/month for herself and Tomi.
Kay plans the Christmas gifts for all in the family. She enjoys living with the Tamaki's.
