Description
Kay has heard word that Iyo and Min live in Evanston, IL (where John is). Tom got a job, not in his field of interest. Kay attended a picnic given by the Friend's Mission Board for Nisei. (there are 40 Nisei in Phillie). Kay has been cooking for Yosh and Terry a lot, and has lost a lot of weight. Also Kay attended a meeting on Post-War Reconstruction and means of acting now at the International Institute.
Kay has been socializing: danced with men being trained to relief work in China at Pendle Hill. Kay's promotion to Placement Department- weekly raise from $21.28 to $31.48. Now researches for the dept. Confidential Washington report: most of better cleared schools are not to accept anymore JA students. Bob turned down Temple. Kay hopes that he didn't decide not to because of her.
