Kay thanks Ted for hosting her in St. Louis. Tom was a sour puss, agitated, but getting better from being with John. Describes trip to Chicago with Tom and John sight-seeing (repeat from letter to folks on pg 73-76). Kay is happy to be independent in her apartment living: cooking and grocery shopping. She is confused by ration stamps.
Comments on immigrant communities in Phillie and accents. Still adjusting to living outside of Camp. Nobuko's finacee, Yosh and Buster are always over for food. Kay is working with a bunch of Nisei (who she calls yabo's).
