Description
John writes to his family in Topaz about being at Garrett Seminary. He describes being asked to be a speaker about the internment camp experience in small Illinois towns, meeting members of the FOR (Fellowship of Reconciliation), who most likely coordinate these speaking engagements. He also gives information about the opportunities for college education in Chicago and Evanston, information for Kay to use in her college placement work with students incarcerated at Topaz. John quit his dishwashing job at a restaurant and is taking a heavy class load.
