1943 12 4 Letter from Kay to Tom

Tamaki's and Kay visited with Miss Fern Colburn, a settlement house worker, and Dr. Bertha Akimoto, who works as instructor of anatomy at Women's Medical.  Mechi came to visit Kay in Phillie, when Kay was going to celebrate Terry's acceptance into Temple med school.  She asks Tom what he thinks of Terry (aka Buster). 

Kay advises Tom to accept the restrictions he faces in his work, and appreciate the opportunities he receives.  She also advises him to research the cost of renting and furnishing an apartment, and thanks him for the blanket and radio.
